I've a range of experience, originally with an educational background in natural and environmental sciences, I've since broadened my horizons into policy and communications having worked in the NGO sector and now in IUCN. I'm passionate about my work and believe that improving the nexus between science, policy and communications is imperative to creating a more sustainable world.

Before my Brussels life I spent two years as head of a marine turtle (mostly caretta caretta) rehabilitation centre in Malta where I spent my days treating injuries in the scorching sun.
