My passion lies in improving people’s health and well-being, with special interest in developing effective and accurate ways to measure self-reported health. During my doctoral studies in public health, I worked in the field of mental health, developing two questionnaires designed to improve doctors’ detection levels of depression and anxiety disorders. With a background in pharmacy, I have work experience in industry, academia and consultancy. Most recently, I have worked for a research consultancy conducting systematic reviews of drugs efficacy and general burden of disease studies. Currently I am working as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Newcastle University on project that aims to measure quality of life in Romania.
