Dervla Gleeson is Corteva’s EMEA Media Relations Leader. She is responsible for driving media engagement to help position Corteva as a key player in innovation and agritech throughout the EMEA region.

An Irish national, Dervla joins Corteva from BAT Group where she coordinated its regional media strategy as Director of Communications and Campaigns. Her work expanded the company’s media capabilities in Europe, Africa and LATAM focusing on policy, sustainability and financial topics. Prior to that she was Media Relations Manager at Cefic, the European chemical industry association, where she advised on reputational issues affecting the industry on energy, trade and chemicals policy. She began her career in publishing as a reporter and editor in Brussels, Belgium.

Dervla earned her bachelor’s in media and journalism from the University of Limerick, Ireland and her Master of Science in Communications from the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels, Belgium. She speaks English, French, Dutch, some Irish and is learning Spanish.
