I have worked on trade policy both in the public sector and in academia. I have spent 12 years in my current job in Toulouse Business School teaching and researching on trade policy and its implications for firms. My particular areas of interest are FTAs, rules of origin, preferential market access and protectionism. I have also undertaken extensive work on EU FDI, especially from and to China and was co-cordinator of an EU funded project on EU China cooperation in green industries.
I have given many presentations at academic and policy related international conferences and have been interviewed several times about my work by the media. I recently presented my work on the EU FTAs negotiations with New Zealand and Australia to a workshop in the EP.
