I am currently the Digital Engagement Manager for Beyond the Bomb and Global Zero, creating content to promote the message of eliminating nuclear weapons. My work experience has mainly been in campaigning for peace and justice, including ending U.S. support for the war in Yemen, promoting human rights and justice in Indonesia and East Timor, working for a peace treaty between North and South Korea, successfully advocating for the adoption of the Iran Deal, raising awareness of Pakistani women lacking access to education, and ending the occupation of Palestine.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude in 2016 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Political Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and received a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from American University's School of International Service in 2018. My academic research has been mostly in post-war transitions in Southeast Asia, North Africa, and West Africa, focusing on negotiations, transitional justice, constitution building, and sexual violence during war.
I see three themes that tie together my campaigning experience and academic research: Justice, disarmament, and diplomacy.
