I am the founder and editor of Europe Street News, a news service covering the European Union from a citizens' perspective. Europe Street News was launched in the aftermath of the UK's EU referendum, which created an 'emergency' situation for millions of people whose rights were depending on EU law. We provide information on EU citizens' rights and offer services to other publishers seeking to link EU debates, decisions and laws to people’s lives. Europe Street builds on more than two decades of experience in media and public affairs across Europe, China and Africa. After starting as a journalist in Italy, my home country, I worked as a press officer at the European Parliament in Brussels and as head of communications at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Brussels and Beijing. I then moved to London and returned to the media.
I have worked with several news outlets (ENDS Europe, The Local, Dutch News, PR Week, Eastwest), covering EU affairs, and have participated in a number of events on these topics.
I have moderated and participated in online and in person events, including press conferences and podcasts. Please find some examples in the links below.
