Holds a law degree (LLM degree) and a wealth of experience working internationally. She held encompassed roles as a lawyer, a human resources manager, and an executive search consultant, with a focus on the healthcare and consumer goods industries. Throughout her journey, Berthe has resided and worked in Belgium, Switzerland, the United States, the Middle East, and Russia for over 35 years. In 2019 she accepted the esteemed position of Soroptimist International's Main Representative to the United Nations (UN) in Geneva. Her UN involvement encompasses on women's rights. A passionate advocate for women's rights within the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), the Human Rights Councel (HRC) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). Additionally, involved in the preparation of the Commission on the Status of Women and the Beijing +30 reviews. Just elected Director of Advocacy as of 2026. Furthermore, she serves as Vice-President of the NGO CSW Geneva since 2021.
