Having a Masters Degree in Comparative literature, French and philosophy, I have moved to Brussels in 2001 to start working as an intern for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. I then moved on to work for 6 years as Head of office for an MEP whose main centres of interest were consumer protection, in the internal market and especially the European services directive. Currently, I am holding the position of Director for ICTS (i.e. ICT Services) in UNI Europa, a European trade union for services and skills. Our main concerns are to improve and protect workers' right in the services industry. My main focus lying on the IT and telecom sector, I am involved e.g. in the European telecom social dialogue and the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition. Moreover, I am experienced in the management of EU projects (acquisition of funds, planning/ organising of projects and conferences) together with our affiliates.
I have been involved in organising conferences during my work at UNI Europa, mainly in the context of EU funded project conferences. Besides planning and organising them, I am also used to speak to conference audiences (mostly to a social partner public).
