Currently working as a public affairs consultant with a focus on strategic advice to companies and organisations in the fields of energy, environment and international trade, I thoroughly enjoy approaching (EU) policy from different angles and doing my bit to contribute to building a robust and sustainable legislative framework. My strong academic background (PhD in environmental law and WTO law; LLM EU law; College of Europe European politics) allows me to dig deep in interesting, urgent and complex questions and where time allows me, I like to take academic side steps next to my consultant work. After my stay as lecturer and research fellow at Leiden University, I worked on environmental issues for the aerospace industry at ASD Europe.
