Francesca Binda is an outstanding senior manager and political consultant with international expertise in democratic institutions and processes, particularly in conflict areas and democracies in transition.
As partner/owner of a new consulting company (BCI), Ms. Binda has already attracted clients engaged in democracy assistance around the world. Recent projects include strategic planning for a NGO in Jordan, the evaluation of the Nigerian Election Commission, an assessment of women’s political participation in Thailand and training of political party activists in the Middle East & North Africa.
Before starting BCI, Ms. Binda directed programs in Egypt, Iraq, the Palestinian Territories, and Morocco, and witnessed, first hand, historic transformations in the Middle East and North Africa, Ms. Binda also contributed to programming in Libya, Jordan, Mauritania and Algeria as well as several countries in Central and Eastern Europe, including post-war Bosnia & Herzegovina. She has an exceptional understanding of international and inter-governmental organisations, the donor community and global actors in democracy promotion and development.
Ms. Binda’s various experiences in the Balkans and the Middle East, contribute to her comprehensive approach to political and democratic development.
