Anne is an experienced antitrust/competition lawyer with three decades of broad-based EU experience in the Brussels arena.
After some 25 years practising in the Brussels offices of various international law firms and a stint setting up the merger reporting team at MLex in 2007-08, in 2018 she joined The Capitol Forum to launch its Brussels presence, writing on EU antitrust deal risk.
In 2019 Anne joined FTI Consulting's strategic communications practice in Brussels, to focus on public affairs, government relations and PR on competition and other legal cases. Since then, she has brought her combined legal and journalism experience in antitrust to bear in the communications around many agency and court competition matters: Aon/WTW, Microsoft/Activision, the UK class action against BT on alleged landline overcharging in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, and Valuelicensing's abuse of dominance claim against Microsoft in the UK CAT, to name a few.
Anne's journalistic and investigatory skill set, honed during her time as a journalist at MLex in 2007-08 when she established and developed its Brussels merger reporting team, and the period reporting for The Capitol Forum in 2018-19, provides her with special insights and experience which she is drawing upon now in her strategic communications role at FTI Consulting, combined with deep legal knowledge from practising law for 25 years.
