I am a Brussels-based academic and policy expert, with six years of experience working at the intersection of ethics and law. My work draws on both philosophy and legal studies to advance inclusive and equitable policy-making. As a PhD researcher, I specialize in privacy, data protection, and the ethics of recommender systems. My research critically examines how algorithmic decision-making and personalized content shape individual autonomy, social dynamics, and fundamental rights—emphasizing the importance of transparency, accountability, and human dignity in digital governance.
I also contribute to a Horizon Europe project, where I focus on the ethical and legal dimensions of impact assessments for emerging technologies. My role involves ensuring that technological innovation is guided by ethical principles, complies with regulatory frameworks, and reflects broader societal values.
I am driven by the belief that integrating diverse disciplines is essential to address today’s complex societal and technological challenges, and I actively work to make this interdisciplinarity more effective and actionable in both academic and policy-making contexts.
