Alessia started to work on EU affairs back in 2015, when she spent almost one year within the team of MEP Simona Bonafè at the European Parliament, working on climate and energy-related issues. After having collaborated with a consultancy firm in Frankfurt (Germany), in early 2017 she came back to Brussels and joined EFIEES, the European Federation of Intelligent Energy Efficiency Services.
Since then, she actively manages the association's lobbying and advocacy activities, promoting the role of energy service companies and their solutions at the EU level.
Alessia holds a master's degree in International Studies from the University of Pisa (Italy), and completed her post-graduate education in Diplomatic Studies at LUISS Guido Carli University, in Rome.
She is passionate about Turkey, where she has carried out the Erasmus program for one year. She wrote her master's thesis on the reform process in the Ottoman Empire and early Republic of Turkey and she is interested in history and geopolitics of the Middle-East area.
