After studying Arab and Islamic contemporary studies, I worked on the project "Musawa II" on building capacity for local and national organisations from the MENA region.
I have also worked as EU Policy Officer, influencing EU policies and programmes on development cooperation with the objective of embedding a human rights based approach. Under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and UN Human Rights treaties, I have led the advocacy towards different EU frameworks such as the EU Consensus for Development, the Multi-annual Financial Framework or the Post-Cotonou agreement. I advocate for the rights of the most marginalised communities, such as women, children or persons with disabilities.
