The She Experts platform is the leading resource of expert women for organisations, employers, political parties, as well as the media in Cyprus. The user-friendly database showcases profiles of women across a range of professional fields, with a view to:
- enhance the visibility and impact of women in their professional capacity, especially across business, politics and industry;
- multiply women’s voices on key issues in the public dialogue, as well as combat sexism and gender bias in local media coverage;
- increase professional opportunities for women;
- and boost the visibility of female role models in Cyprus.
The platform was launched in October 2017 by the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies, a leading NGO in the Euro-Mediterranean region that tackles issues relating to women’s rights and gender equality.
